What we collect

• Account: name, email, password (stored encrypted), and whether you’re a worker or employer.
• Resume: photo, phone, city, work history, skills, certifications, and anything else you choose to add.
• Age: confirmation that you’re at least 14, and whether you’re under 18. We don’t ask for your birthday.
• Employers: business name, location, job postings, and payment records (card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
• Activity: jobs you apply to or save, and basic technical data like page views.

How we use it

• To run the site: show jobs, send applications, and show your resume to employers you apply to.
• To keep people safe: prevent fraud, scams, and abuse.
• To contact you about your account, applications, or jobs.

Who sees your information

• Employers you apply to can see your resume after they unlock that job’s applicants.
• Members (when available) may browse resumes of workers marked “open to work.” You can turn this off any time.
• Service providers who help us run the site (hosting, email, payments), only as needed.
• The law: when required by law or to protect someone’s safety.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

Workers under 18

• You must be at least 14 to use Restowork. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
• Parents or guardians can ask us to review or delete a minor’s account by emailing [legal contact email].

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

• Edit your resume or turn off “open to work” at any time.
• Delete your account from your dashboard. This permanently removes your resume, photo, and applications.
• Depending on where you live, you may have more rights (like access or correction). Email us and we’ll help.

Security and retention

We protect your information with encryption and access controls, but no system is perfect. We keep your information while your account is open, and delete it when you delete your account, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records).
